About the retreat

Join us for five nights in Lofoten

from August 25 to 30, 2026.

This retreat is for those who want to step away from screens, routines, and everyday noise, and spend a few beautiful days in nature with hiking, chef prepared meals, arctic ocean swims, yoga and meaningful connection.

Lofoten is one of the places that has meant the most to us over the years, and it felt like the right place for our very first retreat. During these days, we will hike in beautiful landscapes, share meals together, start the mornings slowly, and make the most of late summer there. Expect time by the ocean, bonfire evenings, meaningful conversations, and space for both rest and inspiration.

Where we are staying

We will be staying at Lyngvær Lodges, a beautiful collection of modern cabins in the heart of Lofoten.

The setting is quiet, scenic, and surrounded by the kind of nature that makes you instantly breathe a little deeper. The ocean is right outside, and the cabins give us the perfect mix of comfort, privacy, and togetherness.

We will stay across 4 to 5 modern lodges, with one main cabin serving as our shared space for meals, hangouts, and time together throughout the retreat. At the same time, there will also be space to step away, slow down, and have a quiet moment when you need it.

We will coordinate the room setup carefully and make sure everyone has a comfortable and thoughtful stay.

The food

Food is a big part of the experience for us, and during the retreat all meals will be prepared by Nourish Scandinavia.

We will have a private chef creating fresh and nourishing meals made with care, with a focus on quality ingredients, simple Scandinavian flavors, and food that feels both good and comforting after full days outdoors.

All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included during the retreat.

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when registering and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Who this retreat is for

This retreat is for people who want a few days of real experiences in nature, shared with good people in a beautiful setting. You can come solo, with a friend, or as a couple. All genders are welcome.

It is for those who feel inspired by the outdoors, enjoy meaningful conversation, and want a break from everyday noise. Maybe you are craving more presence, more movement, more connection, or simply a few days that feel different from normal life.

There will also be a creative element woven into the retreat. Creativity means a lot to us, and being outside has always been one of the biggest sources of inspiration in our own lives. Through optional conversations and sessions together, we want to create space for reflection, new ideas, and honest conversations about dreams, direction, and what you want more of in life. You do not need to be a creative professional to join. You just need to come as you are, with an openness to the experience.

Hiking

We are planning to spend a lot of time outdoors during the retreat, and hiking will be an important part of the experience. The exact hikes will depend on the weather and conditions, but we are planning at least three mountain hikes during the stay. The retreat is designed for people with a basic level of fitness who feel comfortable being active outdoors for a few hours at a time.

You do not need hiking experience at an advanced level, and this is not a performance focused retreat. We will move at a comfortable pace and choose routes that suit the group and the conditions. For us, the goal is not to rush, but to enjoy the landscapes, the fresh air, and the experience of being outside together.

What our days will look like

Arrival Day

Arriving at Lyngvær Lodges is where the retreat begins. After check in, there will be time to settle in, take in the surroundings, and land properly before we gather for our first dinner together. The first evening is about arriving well, getting to know each other, and easing into a few very special days in Lofoten with good food, a warm atmosphere, and a calm start to the retreat.

Retreat days

Our mornings will include arctic ocean swims, one guided yoga session and breakfast together before heading out for the day. During the days, we will head out to experience Lofoten properly, with at least three mountain hikes planned throughout the retreat. The goal is not to rush, but to enjoy the landscapes, the light, and the feeling of spending full summer days outside.

The evenings will be slower. We will come back together for chef prepared dinners, beautiful summer sunsets, and evening swims. These are the hours for good conversations and space to talk more deeply with us about ideas, dreams, projects or life in general :)

Departure Day

On the final morning, we will share one last breakfast together, have a closing session as a group, and coordinate transport to the airport.

Kollega & Venn

Embla and Charlotte from Kollega og Venn will be with us throughout the retreat to help make the whole experience feel smooth, easy, and well taken care of. They will also be available to assist with questions and practical details around travel, coordination, and planning before and during the retreat. They can’t wait to meet you in Lofoten!! <3
